Run to Tanunda to visit Karl Lindner’s Jaguar Museum and lunch at Embers Pizza , Nurioopta.
We met at the Ingle Farm shopping centre and made our way onto Port Wakefield Road then onto the Northern Connector , the NEXY , the Sturt Highway travelling down Gommersal Road to Tanunda.
We were met at the Museum by Jake who is the caretaker of the largest private collection of Jags in the Southern Hemisphere, he is also responsible for the restoration of many of the cars.
The club previously did this run in 2012 but a lot of time and money has been spent since then on restoring cars and upgrading the museum, well worth the visit.
After looking at the Jags we headed a few K’s down the road to Embers Pizza at Nuri, great food and enjoyed by all.
Thanks for everyone who came along for the day and no wrong directions this time.
Cheers Gary.
