A lovely sunny day awaited as we departed from the Crafers Interchange on Sunday 30 May to Tailem Bend with 13 cars attending. On arrival we had a really good look around at the premises such a wonderful sight to behold, cars, cars, and not just ordinary cars.
We were fortunate to attend the course on a “Permanent Member Day”, which enabled us to watch current members race around the circuit.
Lap time approached and we were on our way following the Pace Car, 2 laps of the International Circuit and 1 on the “GT” circuit. WOW!!! We thoroughly enjoyed the experience. This was all followed by a “roast lunch of either Beef or Chicken provided by the Rydges Hotel.
Not Bad for $40.00 pp.
Christine said of the day, “Well, what a fun day at the Bend today was. Never been near a race track before let alone on the track so something new for me. 100 mph down pit Strait was awesome. I hope all those who attended today enjoyed it as much as I did. Thank you Milton and Renate for organising.”
A good time enjoyed by all, and suggested next time, we have a turn with the “Go-Karting Experience”
Should you like to participate please speak to a committee member.
