Adrian Brien Ford took advantage of a Ford Australia offer to showcase a new Mustang to their customers. What made Adrian Brien different to other metropolitan dealers is their branding and association with Mustangs On The Move.
They have branded ‘The Stable’ and are looking to offer their customers an enhanced experience when buying a new Mustang. Ford dealers wanting to participate in showing the Mustang would receive the car at 3pm and it would be picked up the following morning at 9am, not long for customers that have placed orders and those wanting to see the car ‘before putting their money down’. From the initial enquiry Adrian Brien have wanted Mustangs On The Move involved. They branded ‘The Stable’ and invited our members to attend the unveiling. Over 40 of our members accepted their invitation to attend. Three of our Mustangs (Red, White and Blue representing the Tri Bar) were in the showroom, along with a magnificent black Shelby. Two green ‘66s and a white ’95 were outside to welcome visitors.
Inside the Deep Impact Blue convertible was under a black satin sheet. With a presentation rolling on the video screen, Mustangs On The Move was again represented along with historical footage and YouTube clips. The convertible on tour is a LHD 50th anniversary edition, the right hand drive models are just about to enter production. The star received its deserved attention and I did not hear any guests walking away disappointed.
Mustangs On The Move will be welcoming 2016 Mustangs into our club as a number of existing members have placed their orders. When? A good question I’m sure our members who have ordered one will be anxious to enjoy their new purchase ASAP, early orders are still on track to be delivered before Christmas. Some of the new Mustang customers may not be ‘car club people’, but I know MOTM will welcome all new Mustang owners who want to join a great Mustang club.
Thanks to David, Joel, Daniel and all of the Adrian Brien staff for involving our club in their launch and for a great night.
This event and the recent opportunity to see the KPM Streetfighter Mustang has given our members the best opportunity to see the new Mustang (short of travelling to the US).
I’m still trying to work out how to fit my Great Dane in the back seat, but gee it is a nice piece of machinery and will continue the tradition of Mustangs being icons on the road. Bring on the RHD deliveries.
